Bright and early the morning of September 15, Jean Graham, Broome-Tioga BOCES speech language pathologist for our PALS, Oak Tree and Evertech programs, will board a flight carrying 87 veterans and 65 guardians, as the group embarks on a day-long trip to Washington, D.C.

Students who attend classes at the Glenwood Education Center, East Learning Center or West Learning Center will begin the 2021-2022 school year on Thursday, September 9. Students who attend classes at BOCES' district-based programs will follow the opening date of the district in which the classroom is located.

Put on hold due to the pandemic, a construction project honoring the service of fallen Johnson City Police Office David “DW” Smith was recently completed by students in several BOCES career & technical programs, then loaded onto trucks and delivered to the Discovery Center of the Southern Tier. The most prestigious service award annually bestowed by the Broome-Tioga Board of Cooperative Educational Services this year goes to special needs job advisor Dave Cottrell.
