MAKING PERCUSSION INSTRUMENTS

Grades: K-12

Audience Size: 30                           Length of Performance: 60 minutes

Setup Time: 15 minutes                    Teardown Time: 15 minutes

     Description:

    Jorge leads students in making percussion instruments from common, recyclable materials.
    Possible list of instruments include maracas, shakers, cuicas, rain sticks, & etc.

    *Materials not included.

    For an extended an more meaningful experience, you may also add/include this band in Jorge's entry "Residencies."

    Cost:

    $300- 1/2 day (up to 4 periods)
    $500 - full day (up to 7 periods)
    $2,150 - 5 day Residency (includes 1 separate planning session)
