This program prepares for an entry-level position within the construction fields and building maintenance careers.  Course will cover:  basic plumbing, carpentry, masonry flooring, construction math, building codes, painting & rigging, cleaning, corrective and preventive maintenance.  In addition, participants prepare for and are given the opportunity to take the OSHA 10 Basic Safety Exam.

Building Maintenance requires that all applicants take a reading assessment exam.  Exam will be scheduled once application is received and enrollment opens.

Days:    Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday
Times:  3:00PM - 6:00PM
Tuition: $2,950
The following items are needed in Building Maintenance:
  1. Jeans or other heavy duty cotton work pants
  2. Work boots

Registration Procedures

Attend an Information Meeting – 

Information meetings provide detailed information on programs, registration procedures and tuition assistance options. They will be held on the first Tuesday in April, June and October at 10:30AM and 5:00PM in the Education Center at 435 Glenwood Road. Please call ahead to register.

Tuition includes textbooks and program specific supplies.  Any personal items, such as uniforms, watches and footwear are the responsibility of the student.
