Welding
Prepare
for employment in manufacturing as an entry-level, certified welder. Learn TIG and MIG welding and related
processes and techniques reinforced by daily hands-on instruction and practice. Modern equipment and techniques are used
during training. Metal, Materials and
common shop tools are provided in the welding lab.
Students
are prepared for and given the opportunity to take the American Welding Society
(AWS) Certification test.

SPRING
Construction Welding
Prepare for employment in construction as an entry-level certified welder. Learn Gas Cutting, Plasma Arc Cutting, Flux Core Arc Welding and Stick Welding and related processes and techniques reinforced by daily hands-on instruction and practice. Modern Equipment and techniques are used during training. Metal, materials and common shop tools are provided in the welding lab.
Students
are prepared for and given the opportunity to take the American Welding Society
(AWS) Certification and the OSHA 10-Hour Construction Safety Certification
tests.
