All BOCES instructional programs and offices are closed
Due to an order issued Friday, March 27, by Gov. Andrew Cuomo, all K-12 schools will remain closed until April 15. The closure order is part of a proactive effort to limit exposure to the Coronavirus. All BOCES offices will also remain closed until April 15. Updated information will be posted in this location as it becomes available.

All schools are prepared to provide student meals (two per day per student) at designated pick-up locations throughout the county. You do not have to go to the pick-up site at your school; any site will serve you. To view a list of those locations, click here for Broome County schools, click here for Tioga County schools.

Summer STEAM Academy

Offered in the month of July, this two-week, hands-on program engages students in project-based learning around science, technology, engineering, math and art through the design cycle. Local engineers and other professionals team up with students in small learning communities to explore and develop projects with real-world applications.

Each summer, approximately 100 students in grades 9 and 10 become immersed in STEAM activities in partnership with the Eastern Southern Tier STEM Hub and its facilitators, including Lockheed Martin and Binghamton University.

Students interested in this exciting program should see their guidance counselor for enrollment details.
