The Medical Office Assistant Program of study is designed to prepare students for medical office assistant responsibilities including the front and back of the office. Upon completion of the Medical Office Assistant Program, students would be prepared for such positions as medical office assistant, medical file clerks, and medical office receptionists.

Medical Office Assistant requires a minimum 11th grade reading level. An assessment test will be scheduled when registration is received.

Certification: National Certified Medical Office Assistant (NCMOA) through NCCT

Semester: Fall

Dates: 9/9/2014-4/16/2015

Hours: 168

Days: Tuesdays and Thursdays

Times: 6-9 p.m.

Information meetings provide detailed information on programs, registration procedures and tuition assistance options. They will be held on the first Tuesday in April, June and October at 10:30AM and 5:00PM in the Education Center at 435 Glenwood Road. Please call ahead to register.
