Career Pathways
Career Pathways offers curriculum and professional development opportunities as well as monetary support in the form of site-facilitation funds. All applied academic curricula developed through career pathways are aligned with New York state standards and are designed for students to successfully meet related state assessments.
Career Pathways is a VTEA-Perkins IV Title II funded program that supports contextual learning in the classroom. Students see the connection between what they learn in school and real-life practices, preparing them for high-demand, high-tech careers. This program allows students the opportunity to earn college credits while in high school to build a seamless transition from secondary to postsecondary success.
School-to-Careers
The School-to-Careers Partnership of Broome and Tioga Counties introduces career opportunities to students at all levels, K-12, by preparing them for the workplace. It assists students in the exploration of multiple career options, provides a firsthand look at the relationship between education and work, and helps students map out a direction for the future.
School-to-Careers Mission Statement
