With the intent of supporting teacher's participation at educational conferences, the Teacher Center of Broome County is offering conference sponsorships to consortium school staff.
If the Sponsorship Committee approves your request, you will receive reimbursement of your registration fee up to $150. This is contingent on submission of:
- proof of attendance (program, name tag, certificate of attendance
- brief rationale of your attendance
- verification of payment
This must be done within seven days of the conference date.
This offer is only open to school staff from the TCBC school consortium. Only one TC conference sponsorship is allowed per person per year. Only the registration fee qualifies for reimbursement. The conference must relate to the applicant's work assignment. Applications will be informed of their acceptance via email after applications are reviewed.
Application is on a rolling basis.
NOTE: The application does not constitute approval by your home district. You must follow your district’s protocol for conference approval before applying for this scholarship.
