BOCES Board Member Peter Nowacki Named Area 4 Director of NYSSBA

Congratulations to our BOCES Board member Peter Nowacki who has been elected as the Area 4 Director of the New York State School Boards Association. He will begin his term on Jan. 1, 2024. Nowacki has served on the BOCES board since 2006 and is currently the president of the Windsor Central School District Board of Education. 

“I am incredibly honored to receive this appointment. This election is significant for our district because it shows that the incredible work our team is doing. It provides recognition of our hard work by all 66 districts that make up the entire central part of the state. This position will certainly be one of the greatest honors of my life. It’s made all that much better because my election to the position is predicated on the incredible work everyone in our community is doing in the field of education,” said Nowacki.

As the director, Nowacki will represent the following school districts at the state level:
