Sled dogs entertain, help teach lessons
A pair of Siberian Huskys recently helped students and staff in the PALS and Oak Tree programs kick off a six-week study of Alaska’s famous Iditarod sled dog race. See gallery 
Lifesaving skills taught at East Learning Center
Learning to save a life with CPR and provide emergency First Aid treatment for the injured are lifelong skills being taught at Broome-Tioga BOCES' East Learning Center in Binghamton.
With volunteer help from Endicott resident Dave Abell, who runs Abell Safety Training, students are earning certification in CPR and First Aid while fulling new graduation requirements set by the state. View gallery

PALS restaurant has the recipe for student success
It’s all part of the special recipe: mix a dash of math and literacy with a helping of basic culinary skills, money handling and social interaction with people outside ones peer group, and what you have are the key ingredients to adult living success through a program called ‘Kathleen’s Early Bird Restaurant.”
