Named for the teacher who first envisioned the program and fostered it to fruition through years of perseverance and dedication to special needs students – Kathy Syron – the restaurant recently marked its 30th year of bolstering self-confidence and independence through the preparation and serving of good food to fellow students and staff.
The morning anniversary celebration was attended by restaurant “regulars” as well as former teachers, administrators and staff from BOCES PALS program. See gallery.
