Hard work, dedication leads CTE senior to presidential scholarship nomination
Hoping to receive one of only 20 such scholarships awared to high school students in the state each year, Locke is recognized for her dedication, hard work and leadership in the classroom and as Area II vice president of the New York state chapter of SkillsUSA. The key criteria for the presidential scholarship include academic rigor, technical competence, employability skills, and ingenuity, creativity and problem solving.
