Learning to get and keep a job in a competitive market

The program was taught by George Spencer, vice president and business development officer for Chemung Canal Trust Company. This is the second year Spencer has taught the JA program.

The Career Success program strives to provide students with the tools and skills necessary to earn and keep a job in high-growth career industries. Topics include the “four Cs:” critical thinking, communication, collaboration and creativity, while also focusing on soft skills, setting work priorities, and job-hunting skills.
