During a visit to the Broome County Sheriff’s Department Law Enforcement Academy (a program first), students experinced what new police recruits must go through before officially joining that thin blue line out on the streets.
With two academy drill instructors assigned to their visit, students performed physical training alongside actual new recruits, a sweat-inducing, eye-opening experience for all.
