'Little Blue" comes alive at Discovery Center through student project

A renovated 1949 Chevrolet pickup truck, which greatly resembles the lead character in the 2008 children's book titled “Little Blue Truck,” was officially unveiled in the center's Story Garden June 5.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to recognize students in several of our programs: Automotive Services, Auto Body Repair, PALS and Oak Tree (the latter two creating a beautiful flower garden in the bed of the truck).
