Tech Academy students place at annual robotics competition

Students in Broome-Tioga BOCES Tech Academy participated in the annual Southern Tier Robotics Competition hosted March 25 by the Greene Central School District.

The competition included four separate contests: ping pong pick up, autonomous, line follow and remote control fork lift. Nine tech academy students competed in each of the four events, earning 2nd place in the autonomous category.

The event was sponsored by Raymond Corp and SUNY Broome. It was a great opportunity for students to have fun and show off their talents.
