P-TECH students show you're never too young to learn computer coding

The tenth- and eleventh-grade students spent more than a week learning the “Scratch” programming platform to create games to help preschool children learn the alphabet and to count to 20. In addition to the games, the students also created small sample programs that they used to introduce simple programming concepts to the preschoolers.

It was a fun experience for both groups, as the high school students showed off their games and the preschool children learned some basic programming. It was an all-around engaging activity for everyone involved.
