A group of local professionals from the Broome Leadership Institute program visited the Broome-Tioga BOCES main campus as part of a daylong session on education.  The group learned about programs and services offered through BOCES and toured the campus to see many of the programs firsthand.  Broome Leadership Institute is a six-month community leadership program offered through the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.  View Photo Gallery. [...click for more]

BOCES students and staff joined dozens of other Special Olympics supporters at the annual "Freezin' For A Reason Polar Plunge" on November 4 at Bowman Lake State Park.
Dressed in superhero costumes and other forms of colorful attire, the group of hardy souls ventured into the 48-degree waters in support of Special Olympic athletes and their families. More than $15,000 was raised at this year's event.
