Dozens of students and parents from around the region attended Broome-Tioga BOCES' Center for Career and Technical Education Open House on Tuesday, March 13. The event enables visitors to tour BOCES' facilities, meet students and staff and learn about the career and technical programs we offer.

A group of local professionals from the Broome Leadership Institute program visited the Broome-Tioga BOCES main campus as part of a daylong session on education.  The group learned about programs and services offered through BOCES and toured the campus to see many of the programs firsthand.  Broome Leadership Institute is a six-month community leadership program offered through the Greater Binghamton Chamber of Commerce.  View Photo Gallery. [ for more]

BOCES students and staff joined dozens of other Special Olympics supporters at the annual "Freezin' For A Reason Polar Plunge" on November 4 at Bowman Lake State Park.
Dressed in superhero costumes and other forms of colorful attire, the group of hardy souls ventured into the 48-degree waters in support of Special Olympic athletes and their families. More than $15,000 was raised at this year's event.
