Membership Report: No new members since last spring. Membership forms were distributed.

High: 3 Scholarship winners @ $500 each

NYSSCA Report: BTCA is now linked to NYSSCA. Cindy emphasized the importance of membership to NYSSCA and reported that only 14% of all working school counselors in NYS are members. Also, if you renew your membership in September, you get 1 month free. NYSSCA conference to be held in Rochester the last week in October.

Scholarship News: Angela will mail BTCA scholarship applications in January.

Executive Board Positions Needed: President Elect, PR, STC Rep., Elem Level Rep.

General Membership Meeting: Wednesday October 5, 2011 8:30-10 @ Endicott Learning Center. Suzy will pick up coffee from DD and bagels from Best Bagels. Laurie P. will bring OJ, cups, plates, napkins and knives.

Wine Fundraising Event: Saturday November 5. Location TBD.  Laurie working on new locations.

Holiday Breakfast: Friday December 9 @ Orlandos at Enjoie Golf Course. Registration will be from 8-8:30 and breakfast will be at 8:30. Steel drum band or another local high school will perform again this year.
