BTCA EXECUTIVE BOARD MINUTES 4/15/10
Members Present: Christi Smith, Laurie Wicks, Kim Hahne, Laurie Praefke, Tish Butler,
Bob Heinle, Stephanie Mitsakos, Tom Westcott, Robin Novi
1.) Board Reports-
a.) Treasurer- Current balance is $3643.
b.) Membership- Currently have 54 paid members. Free Membership to be raffled at Spring
Conference. Membership forms for 2010-2011 to be in folders for conference
c.) Levels-
Elementary- None
Middle- None
High- None
d.) Scholarship- Broome County Scholarship Selection will take place on April 29th.
2.) Old Business-
Spring Conference- Thurs. April 22nd at the Owego Treadway
Subcommittee Report:
Treadway is confirmed.
Vendor Tables- we will have seven tables set up—BCC, TC3, BU Continuing Ed, Elmira College, NYSAVES 529, Guidance Direct and NYSSCA.
Folders are all set for each registrant—agenda for conference, note paper, conference evaluation form, conference certification of attendance and 2010-2011 membership form.
Robin Novi will bring BTCA pens.
Last minute items— Tom Westcott to bring 3 projectors/2 laptops, Kim Hahne to bring raffle tickets and items, folders and signs for the vendor tables and rooms, Laurie Praefke to bring gift certificate for Outback Steakhouse, Angela Sementelli to bring gift certificate from Price Chopper, Stephanie Mitsakos to bring name tags, Robin Novi to bring BTCA pens.
Registration table- to be covered by Laurie Wicks and Stephanie Mitsakos
Board members asked to report at 7:30 AM ish to help set up for registration starting at 8 AM
3.) New Business-
Cindy Sodeur met with as our new Governor of NYSSCA.
