Why join the Broome-Tioga Counselors Association?

In these difficult and challenging times of changing standards and an ever-increasing workload for counselors, the BTCA serves as a single, strong voice advocating on behalf of school counselors and our students.

The BTCA sponsors a nearly annual Annual Conference and other professional development workshops for continuing education. Networking opportunities are provided by level meetings (Elementary, Middle and High School levels) to share knowledge and to support each other in our work. Members receive a discount rate to our very popular Holiday Breakfast and to our Annual Conference. The BTCA publishes a Directory of School Counselors each year and keeps members updated about events via our website. In addition to supporting the professional development and networking opportunities of the BTCA, your $25 membership fee helps to fund the three $400 scholarships we award to students from Broome and Tioga counties who are planning to enter the field of education.

Membership dues are $25. Checks should be made payable to BTCA and mailed to the address indicated on the form or sent through Boces mail. Membership in the BTCA says that you care about your profession and your students.

THANK YOU FOR JOINING!
