Mission Statement
The BTCA is a not-for-profit professional organization primarily consisting
of school counselors from the Broome-Tioga BOCES school districts. School
psychologists, social workers, higher ed., and agency counselors are also
invited to join.

More About What We Do
We work to provide the Broome-Tioga area counselors with professional development and networking opportunities. We fund three $500.00 scholarships to local students planning to enter the field of education or counseling. We co-sponser CAREER EXPO with the School-To-Careers Partnership and we
co-sponser COLLEGE DAY at the Broome County Arena.
Annual Events include:
- Fall General Membership Meeting
- College Day at the Arena
- Holiday Breakfast with keynote speaker and entertainment
- Career Expo at Binghamton University
- Spring Professional Development Conference
- BTCA Scholarship Wine Tasting
Elementary, Middle School and High School level meetings
