Mission Statement
The BTCA is a not-for-profit professional organization primarily consisting of school counselors from the Broome-Tioga BOCES school districts. School psychologists, social workers, higher ed., and agency counselors are also invited to join.

More About What We Do
We work to provide the Broome-Tioga area counselors with professional development and networking opportunities. We fund three $500.00 scholarships to local students planning to enter the field of education or counseling. We co-sponser CAREER EXPO with the School-To-Careers Partnership and we
co-sponser COLLEGE DAY at the Broome County Arena.

Annual Events include:

  • Fall General Membership Meeting
  • College Day at the Arena
  • Holiday Breakfast with keynote speaker and entertainment
  • Career Expo at Binghamton University
  • Spring Professional Development Conference
  • BTCA Scholarship Wine Tasting
