Members of the Broome Tioga BOCES Distance Learning Service or Videoconference Service may use the distance learning classrooms or their mobile Polycom® units for videoconferences/electronic field trips to content providers.  

To locate a videoconference/electronic field trip, please follow the steps listed below:

Go to one of the databases listed below to find a field trip or collaboration project that you would like to participate in.  These databases are updated frequently and list programs based on content provider, grade level, subject area, etc.

Contact the content provider (for electronic field trips) or collaborative site to determine the cost of the field trip and to get a list of possible dates/ times for the videoconference program.

Once you’ve located a content provider, determined the cost, and determined possible dates/times for the videoconference, please contact Michelle Bartholomew, Distance Learning Coordinator at (607) 766-3767.
