The School Library System provides a means of sharing resources through interlibrary
loan among component schools, other BOCES', colleges, and special libraries.
Also provided is access to full text online articles and documents (journals,
books, encyclopedias, radio and TV scripts, and images) for use by participating
schools.
The School Library System also coordinates development of a database for school
owned resources, with over a million holdings. This database is published on
internet where it is combined with 5 other databases from other school library
systems in south central New York:
• Cayuga Onondaga
• Delaware-Chenango-Madison-Otsego
• Otsego-Northern Catskills
• Schuyler-Steuben-Chemung-Tioga-Allegany
• Tompkins-Seneca-Tioga
A variety of in-services, workshops, and automation services are also offered.
