The Media Library provides teachers with video recordings, audio compact discs, DVDs, audiobooks, art posters, document collections, multiple-copy book sets, multimedia kits, laser videodiscs, and CD-ROMs to support curricular needs. The service also provides digital media that can be streamed or downloaded via WebMAX and from DigitalCurriculum.com.
Specialized equipment is available to promote technology awareness and for general instruction; video projectors, a large screen, digital video cameras, a team responder set, teleconference equipment, Classroom Jeopardy! and wireless microphones are among the equipment provided. A portable iMovie lab is available, complete with laptop computers, digital video cameras and on-site training.
In-service training focuses on effective media use and integration into the curriculum.
