New York Online Virtual Electronic Library The following databases are part of NOVEL, a statewide virtual library provided free to the public by the New York State Library.*
Business and Company Resource Center Find company profiles, investment profiles, brand information, Company histories, rankings, chronologies, periodicals and detailed company and industry news. Twayne's Authors Series Search for information on U.S., world or English authors and their works. Custom Newspapers Search a collection of 150 newspapers, both national and international. New York State Newspapers Search 10 major papers including the NY Times and the NY Post. National Newspaper Index Search top five papers at once: Wall St. Journal, NY Times, LA Times, Christian Science Monitor and the Washington Post.		Health and Wellness Resource Center and Alternative Health Module Use this Resource Center to find magazines, journals, newspapers, definitions, directories, and information on a variety of health and wellness topics. Included are links to wellness assessment sites as well as government databases. EBSCO Enter the EBSCO site for MasterFILE Select, Primary Search, Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia, and TOPICsearch. Interface also in Spanish. Grolier OnLine Search 3 encyclopedias plus current events and dictionaries, includes Encyclopedia Americana, Grolier Multimedia Encyclopedia and New Book of Knowledge.

WebMax Provides online access to all resources available from the BOCES Media Library. User numbers are available from the Media Library, or from school library media centers.		PBS Video Database of American History & Culture: Online lesson plans, primary source documents, reproducible student handouts, posters, timelines and other resources enhance classroom use of PBS documentary video programs available from the BOCES Media Library.
