This service assists school districts with test scoring procedures, helping to meet the requirements of the New York State Education Department (SED) and standardized testing. Services include pre-printed answer sheets, labels, editing, scan booklets, scoring and results storage. Shipping labels and test directions are also included. Annual user meetings are conducted at BOCES to explain district responsibilities and prerequisites.
Through its Center for Educational Support and Technology, BOCES supports districts by maintaining LEAP records. The LEAP Reporting service works in conjunction with the Test Scoring service to give districts a centralized service to better facilitate the reporting of state assessment data, as required by SED. The Center provides all LEAP data input forms and instruction on how to submit data.
