The Social Studies Service helps component school districts meet the NYS Social Studies Standards by providing training for and regional scoring of all NYS Assessments. In addition, it provides workshops and critical support for all social studies related topics. These can include workshops on standards, scoring, Document Based Questions and Thematic question construction as well as data analysis and Academic Intervention Services suggestions.
