The Programs and Professional Development (PPD) Department offers professional development, program/curriculum development, and various student enrichment activities for component school districts to enhance educational opportunities for students. Districts are provided assistance in planning, implementing, and evaluating school reform projects that include the application of curriculum, instruction, and assessment, in a standards-based school environment. Programs offer a range of educational opportunities, which support all 28 New York State Learning Standards, for ALL students to increase academic achievement.
