Key Staff/Professional Development Requirements

• Title I, Part A - Requires all teachers of core academic subjects be certified and "highly qualified" by the end of school year 2006.
• Title I, Part B - Requires all paraprofessionals be qualified by 1/8/2006.
• Title II, Part A - To prepare, train, recruit, retain and increase number of highly qualified teachers, principals, and assistant principals.
• Title II, Part D - Enhance education through integration of technology into curriculum and into new learning environments.
