It's been seen on local cable TV for 12 years. More than 250 programs have been produced, each 30 minutes in length, covering dozens of sporting events and hundreds of high school athletes each week. It's SportsWeek.

More than 150 students have been introduced to sports reporting and video production through SportsWeek. They've worked behind the scenes, producing, directing and operating studio and location cameras, as well as doing lead-ins and interviews on camera. Other students have produced animation for SportsWeek.

The communication skills learned from producing a weekly TV show have helped students pursue a number of fields in college, including broadcasting.
